Our Story:

Spaceman Music launched out of Song Bird Music Ottawa in the summer of 2007. In order to consolidate Song Bird Music’s two stores into a single Toronto location, the ownership sold off the Ottawa store to a group of employees, so that they could carry on doing what they loved doing, buying, selling, trading, fixing and just leaning on the counter yapping about how guitars ain’t made like they used to be. So as such, we aren’t connected with the Toronto Song Bird any longer, for what it’s worth, but it is essentially the same business as the old Ottawa Song Bird – same location, telephone, policies and of course the same staff running it. The only major difference is that the old Song Bird drum department next door at 390 Gladstone is being run independently by Mr. David Dudley under the rubric “Dave’s Drum Shop.” He can be reached at 613-594-DRUM (3786)
